The Jamaica Social Stock Exchange (JSSE) has partnered with the National Commercial Bank Foundation (NCBF) to provide aid to fisherfolk in Portland who were affected by the passage of Hurricane Beryl. The aid package has been distributed to 58 fisherfolk who have each received $25,000 (a total of $1.4m) to assist with repairing their equipment which was damaged during the passing of the storm.
