Kyle Walker in 'row with Lauryn Goodman over security at £2.4m home'
by ARTHUR PARASHAR · Mail OnlineEngland star Kyle Walker and his ex-lover Lauryn Goodman are embroiled in a fresh row over the security at her £2.4million home.
The 34-year-old bought the Sussex mansion for his former lover and their two children as part of her outlandish demands for child maintenance contributions.
Walker, who shares four children with his wife Annie Kilner, had an affair with Goodman, who he fathered a son, Kairo, with. It later emerged he had gone on to father a second child, Kinara, with the model and influencer.
As part of a bitter legal battle, Walker agreed to buy the £2.4million mansion and maintain it.
Goodman, 33, was offered a Ring Doorbell after the hi-tech intercom security system at her home failed - but she insists the cheaper alternative will not provide the peace of mind she needs for her family.
The TV personality was able to check visitors on CCTV and open the gate of her drive with the former Control4 system. But insiders say she is now furious with the lack of security with Ring.
A source told The Sun: 'The system kept failing, which worried her. 'She felt quite vulnerable. They are a top footballer's kids living there and security is essential.
'So she got in touch with Kyle's property manager and asked if they could have it fixed.
'They told her no and instead offered a Ring Doorbell system, which doesn't have nearly the same level of security and won't open the gate. She's angry.'
A source close to Walker told MailOnline that the footballer is 'disappointed' by Goodman seeking 'public sympathy' over 'something he wasn't even aware of'.
They added: 'As per the court order - which is put in place to protect Lauryn and her children - all maintenance requests go via the landlord who managed the property.'
The source said Goodman knows that the correct procedure is to raise an appeal which will be brought to Walker.
A source close to Goodman said the Ring doorbell would not work as there is no WiFi outside and it would not be able to open the gates.
They added: 'Security is paramount for her and their children and so if it's not fixed they could well be off to court again for the order to be enforced.
'I'm sure both Kyle and Lauryn could do without the stress of court again, especially with Kyle about to battle for half his fortune in his divorce battle.'

Kyle Walker's extraordinary child maintenance battle with Lauryn Goodman laid bare
It comes as the ongoing war and paternity scandal shows no sign of stopping, with Goodman continuing to speak about it on her podcast.
Earlier this month, she reacted to accusations by fans commenting on Kilner's social media that she 'brainwashes' the children she shares with Walker.
Speaking on her Yours Sincerely podcast, Goodman revealed that a fan had told her that Kilner had been 'liking' negative comments about Lauryn and her children - despite her also routinely liking many of her followers' comments.
Goodman n told co-host Lisa Andrews: 'I did get a message today saying that comments are being liked on her page about me apparently brainwashing my children. Can we touch on that?
'Come off it, what am I brainwashing my child about?'
Turning to Lisa, she asked: 'Do I ever... You're here, and you're around me so much. I don't bring up his dad [Kyle] to him [Kairo], do I?
As Lisa confirmed that Lauryn 'never' mentions her ex in front of her son, the Celebs Go Dating star continued: ' We literally get on with our lives. We are a little family unit.
'It's just crazy to me that people think I'm just sat there trying to get him to rehearse stuff or whatever. What good would that do my child? I'm all about how my child is going to feel in the future.
'These are things his dad is going to have to deal with in the future because Kairo and Kinara will 100% want to ask him some questions.
'And unfortunately, I don't think the answers he'll give will be good enough because they'll be able to see through him and that's my personal opinion.'
A source told MailOnline at the time: 'Annie gets thousands of comments and likes of overwhelming support and she often goes through and likes some of them to show fans she appreciates their messages.
'But both Annie and Kyle would never want to bring children into what Lauren has made a public circus with her weekly podcast. Annie and Kyle are trying to get on with their lives and wish that Lauryn would do the same.'
It comes as Kilner last month instructed lawyers to begin legal proceedings as she prepares to fight for half of the Manchester City defender's £27million fortune.
The couple separated last December after Walker was revealed to have fathered his second child with Goodman, who texted Kilner to reveal the news.
After Kilner began legal proceedings for divorce, a source told MailOnline: 'Things are as bad between them as they have ever been. It wasn't like a normal marriage.
'They have barely been speaking to each other. She is divorcing Kyle because she just can't forgive him for what he's done to her. She can't get over it. She has tried.
'Kyle seems to have accepted it's over. He's been happier in the last week or so. Like the weight of the world's been lifted from his shoulders.'
Back in July, Walker and Goodman battled each other in court over child maintenance for their two children Kairo and Kinara.
The judge granted for Goodman to receive £12,500 per month and £51,000 towards a new car every three years. But her requests for a £33,000 air conditioning unit and £31,200 astro turf were thrown out.
Many of her demands were dismissed by the judge who concluded that she was 'not reliable'. Walker, who was described as 'sensible, honest and reliable', told the court he was not an 'open cheque book'.
