Official PC system requirements for Path of Exile 2

Grinding Gear Games has revealed the official PC system requirements for its upcoming game, Path of Exile 2. So, let’s see what PC system you’ll need in order to run this highly anticipated title.

Path of Exile 2 is a free-to-play action RPG, that will hit Steam Early Access on December 6th. It will feature a massively improved engine for graphics and physics, and it will no longer be an expansion to the first PoE. It will have separate game balance, systems and future expansions. Plus, you won’t be able to transfer your characters or items from the first game.

The good news here is that Path of Exile 2 will at least support cross-play and cross-progression between consoles and PC. As such, you’ll be able to play with your friends, no matter the platform they game on.

To run it, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i7-7700 or AMD Ryzen 5 2500X with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960, and Intel Arc A380, or an AMD Radeon RX 470. The game will also require 100GB of free disk space.

The devs recommend using an Intel Core i5-10500 or AMD Ryzen 5 3700X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, an Intel Arc A770, or an AMD Radeon RX 5600XT.

Sadly, Grinding Gear Games has not revealed the resolution, framerate, and graphics settings that these PC specs target. Still, they can give you an idea of what you’ll need to run it.

As said, the Early Access phase for Path of Exile 2 will begin on December 6th. And while the full version will be free to everyone, the EA version will be behind a paywall. To gain access to it, you’ll have to purchase an Early Access Supporter Pack.
