Makers Reduce Loudness in Kanguva

“Kanguva” opened strongly in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, despite receiving mixed to negative reviews.

While the film generated significant hype in the Telugu market, it faced heavy trolling from online moviegoers in Tamil Nadu.

Much of the criticism centered around issues with voice mixing and excessive loudness, which surprised many as it appeared the makers had not thoroughly checked the audio quality.

Responding to the backlash, producer KE Gnanavel Raja admitted that while the complaints about loudness were valid, other factors such as fan wars, casteism, and political biases also contributed to the trolling.

Addressing the universal concern about loudness, he stated that exhibitors had been instructed to reduce the audio levels during screenings.

The film will now play at lower decibel levels.
