ITV I'm A Celebrity's Coleen Rooney left 'fuming' over new show twist in unseen moment

Fans of I'm A Celebrity are certain they spotted Coleen Rooney's less than thrilled response to a fresh challenge in the jungle.

In Thursday evening's episode of the much-loved ITV show, the dozen campmates were split into three groups of four. McFly's Danny Jones, Radio 1's Dean McCullough, and Coronation Street star Alan Halsall went head-to-head in a bushtucker trial to secure funds for their respective teams, which could subsequently be spent within the camp.

Prior to the division, the group was briefed on who would partake in the Bushtucker Trial - with the remaining campmates poised to watch from the clearing.

Coleen, suspecting a twist, suggested that they might be divided into teams. "I think we might be put into teams, so team Alan, team Danny and team Dean," she speculated to her fellow campmates.

Her intuition turned out to be spot on, and upon reaching the trial area, presenters Ant and Dec announced that basic camp necessities would now come at a cost. In the Rank Bank challenge, Danny, Alan, and Dean vied to win money, which would be loaded onto a cash card for use in camp.

Each participant was given a cash card in a unique colour, and the other celebrities had to blindly pick a card from a bag, with the colour indicating their team allegiance. Coleen drew a pink card, landing her on Dean's team alongside Loose Women's Jane Moore and radio presenter Melvin Odoom.

Viewers tuning in from home were quick to pick up on Coleen's less-than-enthusiastic reaction regarding her team allocation. One viewer remarked on X, "Coleen is fuming to be on deans team," while another added their observation with a touch of humour: "Coleen fuming she's on deans team lollll."

Dean has been through his fair share of ups and downs this series, both within trials and during camp chores actions that haven't slipped past the notice of his campmates. In an unexpected turn of events, Jane found herself at the centre of discord after she vehemently objected being tasked with washing up by Barry McGuigan and Danny, decrying their decision as 'sexist' and 'ageist'.

Empathy came from one audience member who said, "My heart goes out to poor Coleen what a team to be saddled with, Dean and Jane!" Meanwhile, another voiced their exasperation: "The two most annoying campmates, Jane and Dean on the same team... sorry to Melvin and Coleen... but I'm not rooting for pink team."

Another viewer drew conclusions about the implications of her team colour, commenting: "Coleen fuming she got pink cuz that's deans teams which probably means no money."
