Denise Welch has Loose Women 'meltdown' as star guest arrives on ITV set

by · ChronicleLive

Denise Welch had a 'meltdown' during Friday's episode of Loose Women, with the star beside herself with excitement as a major star from America appeared as a guest.

Anyone who follows Geordie star Denise on social media will know she is a huge fan of Bravo shows like The Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules and Below Deck and the man behind Real Housewives and the host of all their reunion shows, Andy Cohen, was a rather surprising guest on Loose Women, joining Denise and co-stars Kaye Adams, Olivia Attwood and Nadia Sawalha for a pre-recorded interview, having been in the UK last week for the Hayu Fan Fest in London.

The second Andy walked onto set, Denise was up a height with excitement, with her the first of the panel to jump up and hug him, before then going in for another cuddle before he took his seat. She then remarked: "Honestly, I have pursued this man through so many different arenas; I'm so obsessed with everything he does. I've now got friends in Bravo television, just so I can get access to Andy Cohen!"

As Olivia interrupted to shout: "Restraining order!" Andy appeared to take all the fuss in his stride, as he responded: "You called and I came." Taking control of the situation, host Kaye stepped in and told him: "Andy, we're all delighted to have you here. Needless to say, Denise is beyond excited," before pointing to the panel and quipping: "These three are all huge Real Housewives fans, but they're Z-listers, you've had some real A-list fans."

Admitting she probably now a bit too much about Andy,. Denise added: "I feel like I'm the mother of your children," prompting Andy to reply: "Wow, that's intense! You feel like you're the mother to my children? Well guest what, they need to be picked up from school in a little bit!
