Ozzy Osbourne unveils custom t-shirt in support of banning trophy hunting, which he calls “totally crazy”
“You’ve got to be barking to kill an innocent animal and then take photos of yourself laughing about it”
by Daniel Peters · NMEOzzy Osbourne has unveiled a t-shirt he designed in support of a campaign seeking to ban trophy hunting – a hobby he calls “totally crazy”.
A video clip was published yesterday (November 18) by Ban Trophy Hunting UK, showing Osbourne and his wife Sharon decked out in his custom-made t-shirts, which read “Ozzy says ‘No trophy hunting!'”.
“Come on, you guys. All we do is talk about it,” says an impassioned Sharon in the clip. “Let’s get it done!”
In a press statement via Consequence, Ozzy calls trophy hunters “totally crazy.”
“You’ve got to be barking to kill an innocent animal and then take photos of yourself laughing about it.” All proceeds from the t-shirt will go to Ban Trophy Hunting UK. Buy here.
He continued: “We’ve all got to do our bit. I like to design things so I’ve done a t-shirt for the Campaign to Ban Trophy Hunting. The government said it would ban hunting trophies, so get on with it! Tell your MP you want it banned right now! Get yourself an Ozzy t-shirt for Christmas and help save the animals!”

Sharon added that they hope “everyone buys this t-shirt and help raise funds to fight these awful people.”
“I can’t think of anything more sickening than killing an animal just for the fun of it and then putting its head up in your living room. I honestly thought those days had gone. Let’s make trophy hunting extinct, not wildlife.” She also reveals that a small batch of the t-shirts, personally signed by Ozzy and Sharon, will also be auctioned off for the cause.
Last month, Ozzy was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in honour of his solo career, after previously entering as a member of Black Sabbath in 2006.
He also continues to be linked with rumours of a final one-off reunion with Black Sabbath, with all four members including drummer Bill Ward appearing to be provisionally on board.
The singer previously shared that he would “jump at the chance” to play a final Black Sabbath show with Ward. Ozzy has dealt with various health issues such as being diagnosed with Parkinsons’ disease in 2020 and undergoing spinal surgery last year.
At the beginning of the year, Sharon revealed that they are planning “two more shows to say goodbye” before he fully retires from performing live.
She reportedly hinted that the Prince Of Darkness would stage the pair of farewell concerts at the Villa Park football stadium in his home city of Birmingham.
Osbourne previously announced his retirement from touring last February, calling off his scheduled European and UK tour dates in the process. Later that month, however, he said he hoped to return to the stage at some point in the future.
