Kerry Katona speaks out on co-star dating rumours after devastating split from fiancé

Kerry Katona has dismissed rumours she is dating her panto co-star following her split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney.

Kerry and Ryan called it quits following a six-year romance last month. Last week, eyebrows were raised when the mum-of-five was papped holding hands with one of her Cinderella castmates in Norwich alongside Katie Price.

But Kerry has now set the record straight and insisted she has no time for dating at the moment.

"We had our opening day of Cinderella at Northwich Memorial Court theatre last week and it went really well! I feel like it was the best opening day I’ve had. It’s been really positive. Katie has been performing with me, which is fun and all our co-stars are amazing," the former Atomic Kitten singer wrote in her weekly OK! column.

"Last week I was holding hands with my co-star Joe and some people thought we were a couple, which is just hilarious – he doesn’t swing my way, I’m afraid! I’m definitely in no place to be getting into a relationship or dating anyone, so that won’t be happening with anyone right now, but especially not with Joe!

"Although, he is staying at mine for a little while, and Katie has also been staying some nights, so I’ve had a very full house."

Kerry added that she feels appreciative for her friendship with fellow reality star Katie, who has been staying with her in the wake of her split from Ryan.

She said: "I’m feeling really grateful for Katie being here recently, I’ve been having a tough time since splitting from Ryan. It’s all felt overwhelming but she’s been supporting me throughout. It’s so nice to have someone who is in the industry and understands what I’m going through.

"[Her boyfriend] JJ has been with her, too, which is nice, he’s really lovely. I’ve told her she isn’t allowed to go back home! We keep saying how fun it would be for us to move into a house together with all the kids and do a reality show, it would be carnage."

Christmas is just around the corner and Kerry will spend the day with her five children - Molly and Lilly, who live in Ireland, and Heidi, Max and DJ. Katie and her eldest child Harvey will also celebrate the day with them.

"We will be having a really relaxed and fun Christmas Day this year. Molly and Lilly will be flying home from Ireland so all the kids will be together again, then I’ll have Katie and her son Harvey, too," Kerry said.

"Me, Katie and Molly will all be sharing cooking duties – Katie said she’s on roast potatoes! Then we are going to play games and have a really nice family day together."
