Fair City's Greg Kiely sensationally fired from job for forgetting letter

A fuming Rafferty offloaded on Greg, played by Shane McCarthy, and told him not bother coming back to work on the site.

Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Dean Dowling tried to assuage Mairead Casey’s worry about Tyler Munroe’s increased presence around the place. Mairead was shocked when Sash Bishop admitted that she was wrong to jump to conclusions about Tyler and that she giving him another chance.
Mairead felt guilty as she realised that Tyler is winning over the locals. Mairead vented her frustration at Rafferty, blaming him for Damien’s problems.
As Mairead fretted about Tyler’s next move, Dean offered to move into her spare room to give her some sense of security.
Fergal Boyle urged his mother Jacinta to apologise to Georgie for her homophobic remarks, but her attempts only made things worse. Ronan visited Fergal to let him know that he is watching him.
Ronan warned that Jacinta needs to keep her racist remarks to herself. Fergal was thrown when he unearthed a vulnerable Jacinta’s true feelings about her brother, Des.
She revealedthat her parents disowned Des for being gay, and she resented him for abandoning her to move away. Fergal’s sympathy dissipated when Jacinta blamed the gay community for having led Des astray.
Fergal received harsh backlash when he called Jacinta out on her bigotry. He drafted a text asking Georgie to meet for a drink but he quickly deleted it.

Gar urged Fergal to stop using Jacinta as an excuse for his failures. Touched by Gar’s support, Fergal vowed to break free once and for all.
A groggy Carol Foley was relieved when Tommy Dillon informed her that surgery went well. Determined to take the pressure off a recovering Carol, Tommy told Leo that he will deal with the cab office.
Tommy urged a worried Ray O'Connell, played by Mick Nolan, to stay positive for Carol, but Nikki Duff continued to wind him up about Doug. Ray fretted that he won’t be able to support Carol in the same way Nora would.
Erica assured a worried Ray that she and Nikki were just messing with him. A contemplative Ray urged Erica not to take things for granted.
Ray felt useful when a voice message from Nora boosts Carol’s spirits.
