I'm a Celebrity viewers saying the same thing in the opening minutes of the show
by Sarah Magliocco · RSVP LiveThe new season of hit reality TV series I'm a Celebrity... Get me out of Here landed on our screens tonight, with a stellar line up this year.
The new cast includes:
- Danny Jones
- Oti Mabuse
- Jane Moore
- Barry McGuigan
- Melvin Odoom
- Alan Halsall
- Tulisa Contostavlos
- GK Barry
- Coleen Rooney
- Dean McCullough
Despite these recognisable names, many viewers took to social media in the opening minutes of the show to say the same thing - that they were not familiar with this year's cast.

One said: "I don’t even know who half of these are, is this a sign of becoming old or? #ImACeleb"
Another shared: "Lol I literally don't know who half these people are."
A third added: "Literally who are these people… worst line up ever?!"
However, the overall opinion on the new season is positive so far, with some viewers even saying it's potentially the best cast the show has had in a decade.
Others are loving the humour that has been displayed on the opening episode of the show.
Particularly, fans have been enjoying a joke made regarding Coleen Rooney's "Wagatha Christie" debacle.
While the new cast is currently getting to know one another down under, one star who was rumoured to be on the bill is notably missing from the line-up.
It was previously reported that former Love Islander and Longford local Maura Higgins had allegedly signed up for the reality show, but she was excluded from the announcement indicating that she likely won't make an appearance, or she will be a surprise celebrity.
