I'm A Celeb campmates left terrified after an intruder breaks in overnight
by Susan KnoxAssistant Showbiz Editor · RSVP LiveThe campmates of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! were left shaken when an uninvited guest infiltrated their living space.
In the dead of night, the 2024 series' celebrities encountered an additional campmate—a rat—lured by leftovers from their lavish meal.
Richard informed his fellow stars at breakfast about the nocturnal intruder, saying: "We had a visitor last night, a little four legged visitor with a tail, a rat."

He suggested that the previous evening's mud crab feast might have drawn the rodent in and reminded everyone to stow away all items, including a frying pan and some cups, before bedtime. Dean pointed out in the Bush Telegraph that it was actually Jane and Tulisa's responsibility to secure the pots, hinting that Richard's general reminder was specifically aimed at them: "It's actually Jane and Tulisa's job to make sure that the pots are in the trunk, so when the reverend was telling everyone to put the pots away otherwise we'll get rats, what he really meant was, Jane and Tulisa, put the pots away."
Meanwhile, Melvin was struggling with his own task of endlessly fetching water for the camp, which he found "relentless", reports the Mirror.
The situation grew tense as Melvin commented on Dean's reluctance to assist: "It's almost like another chore to ask him to help... it's like telling a kid to tidy up his bedroom."
The unwanted guest made its rounds in the camp after Tulisa received the most votes and was chosen for the day's Bushtucker Trial named 'Shock Around The Clock'.
Alan commented about Tulisa after she was put up for the task, saying: "After Fright Bus, I'm not surprised she got voted because those screams were loud, she was directly behind me and my ears are still ringing."
Although apprehensive, Tulisa has promised to do whatever it takes in the trial to earn stars and food for her campmates. In the upcoming challenge, Tulisa will be strapped to the second hand of a huge clock, revolving around its face, as she tries to bag 12 stars.
For each star, she has to think of items fitting into various categories within just one minute. With time running out and with her general knowledge being tested, Tulisa must come up with 12 suggestions for different topics such as all the I'm A Celebrity campmates, the best ingredients for a Sunday roast, and names of UK cities, all while spinning around and accompanied by various creepy crawlies.
