They also revealed their little one's name - Dara.
Traditionally being a masculine name, it is unisex, and has appeared on top 100 baby names for girls in recent years.
Sharing a lovely photo of their new arrival in front of the Christmas tree Rebecca wrote: "Early Christmas Present."
"Baby Girl Dara Donegan arrived last week.We are so completely in love."
"And now all the heartburn makes sense," she joked.
In the snap, little Dara is snuggled up in a teddy-bear motif jumper.
The news comes one year after the couple tied the knot in a new years wedding.
Rebecca told RSVP Live: "The wedding was great. It all went fantastically. There was a lot less drama at that wedding compared to Hayley’s wedding. The food was fab."
The RTÉ star was joined by a number of her Fair City co-stars for the reception in Dublin's Angler's Rest, including Neili Conroy (Sharon), Nyree Yergainharsian (Melanie), Tina Kellegher (Ger), Aisling O'Neill (Carol), Sorcha Furlong (Orla) and Amy Kirwan (Mairead).
She added: "There was a Fair City table and my in law’s were very enamoured by them."
