Molly-Mae opens up about Tommy Fury cheating rumours and her September wedding plans

Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about her shocking breakup from boxer Tommy Fury, the rumours his infidelity is what ended their engagement and her plans to marry next September in a new interview with British Vogue.

The 25-year-old announced in August this year that her five year relationship had come to an abrupt end, sharing a statement with her millions of followers that read: “After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way”.

Now, Molly-Mae has spoken about the break-up and the rumours of Tommy’s infidelity, insinuating that it is up to him if he wishes to speak about why the broke up.

“It was a bit of a shock. The circumstances…”, she says. “I didn’t want what happened to happen. [I] wanted to get married to Tommy, one hundred per cent, and that would never have changed.”

“No one will ever really know what went down apart from Tommy and I, and that’s how we’d like to keep it, for Bambi’s sake,” she says.

“I do think that he will talk about things eventually. I do think that when he’s ready, like, maybe more will be said. But I think that’s for him to do on his terms.

“It’s not like it’s gossip, it’s real life and it’s, you know, it’s a really deep situation. It’s really sad.”

Molly-Mae also revealed their wedding date was set for September 2025 and the plans for a big wedding day were underway.

“I wanted to get married next September and it’s very hard when it’s kind of taken away. But I will always have a lot of love and respect for him.”

While she never questioned the decision to marry, she did have doubts about the wedding day itself.

“Was I planning a big wedding because I wanted that image of a big wedding and the beautiful photographs and that moment that everyone would have expected from us on social media? Probably. Would I be more confident now, after everything that’s happened and learning even more about myself, to say, actually, that doesn’t even make me happy, screw the big Instagram moment, I’m going to do it this way? Definitely.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Molly-Mae said there is one upside to the breakup: “more wardrobe space” and seemed to confirm reports that the mansion she and Tommy once shared was in her name only.

“I haven’t really specified that properly, but, yeah, you can probably assume,” she said.

Molly-Mae also confirmed that she is filming a three-hour documentary, set to air on Prime Video in early 2025. The show is from the same team as the Netflix series At Home with the Furys, and while it was initially intended to capture the build up to Molly-Mae and Tommy’s big day, it will now focus on Molly-Mae building her businesses while managing motherhood.

The show promises an all-access look at “the Hague nobody has seen before”.

“So far, so good,” she says. “I’ve not lost my mind yet with the cameras in my house all the time.”
