Strictly Come Dancing fans left 'losing the will to live' as they issue complaint
by Jasmine Allday · DevonLiveStrictly Come Dancing viewers were quick to express their dissatisfaction just moments into the show. The BBC ballroom competition is down to the final seven remaining celebrities who will perform their own routines in their couples and participate in the danceathon.
However, fans were less than impressed about Pete Wicks' routine as he took to the dance floor to open the show. And as well as concerns about the dancing, they also had concerns about the music he and his partner Jowita Przystal were dancing to.
As the episode kicked off, one fan wrote: "Losing the will to live at Pete still being here. This is a week 3 dance. Absolutely no progression #Strictly," whilst a second added: "Every week I play a game of "which song are they going to murder this time? We have found an early contender for tonight #Strictly."
A third shared: "Crikey, the singers are being drowned out by the music, but based on what I can hear, that might be a good thing for this one. Poor Pete, it's all I can focus on. #Strictly," with a fourth writing: "They are murdering this song. And the song doesn't go with Pete's dance, it feels off #Strictly.", reports the Mirror.
Pete managed to avoid the dance-off last week, despite facing criticism for his performance of 'I'm Too Sexy' during Blackpool week. Last week saw the departure of Wynne Evans and Katya Jones from the BBC show after they were out-danced in the dance-off. Reflecting on his journey, Wynne shared: "It's been wonderful, I've got to say. I feel like it's what Strictly is all about. If I can come and do Strictly and last until week nine, then anybody can get out there and dance and have a brilliant time."
But if the reaction of fans is anything to go by, then this could be the week in which Pete departs, as they were given a 29/40 by the judges.
