Ben Fogle, 51, is a renowned presenter of numerous wildlife-themed programmes across BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

His recent contributions to Channel 5 include shows such as Ben Fogle and the Buried City, Endurance: Race to the Pole and Into the Congo with Ben Fogle.

Fogle first gained public attention after his appearance on the BBC reality show Castaway 2000, which involved 36 individuals stranded on the Scottish island of Taransay for a year.

The unique social experiment tracked the progress of these men, women and children as they attempted to establish a sustainable, self-sufficient community from scratch.

Born to actress Julia Foster and veterinarian Bruce Fogle, Ben was privately educated at the Hall School in Hampstead, London and Bryanston School in Dorset.

During his gap year, he travelled to Ecuador to teach English at an orphanage before dedicating another gap year to a turtle conservation project on the Mosquito Coast of Honduras and Nicaragua.

He later attended the University of Portugal, where he pursued Latin American studies before moving on to the University of Costa Rica.

Away from his television career, Fogle leads a quiet life with his wife, Marina and their two children, Ludovic and Iona. It is believed that the family resides near the village of Fawley, situated on the border between Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

This village is just a few miles from Henley-on-Thames, which has been previously named by The Times and The Telegraph as one of the best places to live in the English countryside.

The 'Countryfile' presenter boasts a tranquil countryside abode shared with his family, dogs, and horses.

Recounting to the Metro in 2023 about his rural retreat, he revealed, "We live in an old flint cottage in Oxfordshire. It is in a rural setting surrounded by woodland, fields and nature."

Detailing their interactions with the local wildlife, he added, "We have plenty of deer that like to eat our roses, moles that dig up the lawn and even a wild population of wallabies that bounce into our garden and chase the dogs, but we love it."

Situated in Fawley, the splendid Neoclassical country house, Fawley Court, stands majestic. Dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, this Grade I-listed mansion was the handiwork of none other than Sir Christopher Wren, with gardens shaped by Capability Brown.

Historically graced by a deer park extending into Henley Park, it boasts an air of grandeur. As well as the magnificent Fawley Court, the area is also home to St Mary's Church, an edifice dating from the 12th century flaunting two historic mausolea erected in 1752 and 1862 within its grounds.

Fogle supplements his residence with an investment property in West London; as MailOnline reports, his luxurious £2.7million five-bedroom was previously listed for rent at an eye-watering £26,000 per month.

Nestled close to the affluent Henley-on-Thames, house prices in Fawley reflect the exclusivity of the region. The average value, standing at a staggering £2,610,000 over the past 12 months according to Rightmove, underscores the village's desirability.

Over the past year, most properties sold in Fawley were detached homes, fetching an average price of £4,310,000. Semi-detached properties, on the other hand, sold for an average of £910,000.
