I'm A Celeb's Tulisa can spend 'all week' eating one food as star reveals diet plan

Tulisa Contostavlos, a contestant on I'm A Celeb, has shared her strict diet regimen, revealing there's one food she could eat 'all week'. The singer, who rose to fame in the early 2000s with N-Dubz, is currently competing to be crowned queen of the jungle on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.

She confessed to Heat magazine that she often eats the same food every week. "Sometimes, I spend a week eating lentils, so I don't think it is going to bug me as much as others." But despite her maintaining a healthy diet, Tulisa hasn't been without her health battles, as she revealed on Loose Women in 2020 that she had been diagnosed with Bell's palsy.

Despite maintaining a healthy diet, Tulisa has faced health challenges. In 2020, she disclosed on Loose Women that she had been diagnosed with Bell's palsy, a condition that can cause facial paralysis and nerve damage.

She revealed that her first attack occurred after a severe horse-riding accident that resulted in a fractured skull. "At any time, I have emergency steroids on me, and now luckily I know how to manage it, so the attacks don't last as long," she explained.

She also addressed criticism she has received about her appearance, saying: "There have actually been times when people have criticised me for the way I look and my face, not knowing I'm actually going through a Bell's palsy attack.", reports Gloucestershire Live.

She added: "If you have steroids within a 72 hour period, it can last days instead of seven months, which happened to me the first time. I was hiding in the house."

Tulisa wasn't the only camp mate to give an insight into their diet before entering the jungle, as Coronation Street star Alan Halsall revealed: "I'm vegetarian, have been my whole life. I have no idea why. The only explanation I've ever been given by my mum is that I'm just too lazy to chew meat." He laughed as he added: "I think she's on to something!"

The NHS describes Bell's palsy as 'temporary weakness or lack of movement affecting one side of the face'. They advise that steroid treatment can aid recovery, with most individuals improving within six months.

Don't miss the next episode of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! which airs on ITV 1 at 9pm this evening (Thursday, November 21).
