Anton du Beke couldn't hold back his tears as Tasha Ghouri achieved the first perfect score of this series on Strictly Come Dancing. Alongside her dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec, Tasha performed an American Smooth to Lewis Capaldi's 'Someone You Loved' that impressed both the audience and the judges, clinching a flawless 40 out of 40.

Judge Shirley noted Anton's emotional response: "This is the first time I've seen you cry and you were very emotional."

Overwhelmed by the performance, Anton confessed, "It was beautiful. It just makes me go - this is why we dance. This is the point. People say why do you dance, and that's why."

In addition to their individual routines, the dancing stars took part in a heated Samba-thon this week, where they all hit the floor together aiming to rack up extra points from the judges with their sizzling Samba moves.

Here’s how the leaderboard is looking at the end of week 10 with the couple’s first dance score added to their sambathon score:

Tasha and Aljaž – 40 + 6 = 46

JB and Lauren – 39 + 7 = 46

Montell and Johannes – 37 + 5 = 42

Sarah and Vito – 36 + 4 = 40

Chris and Dianne – 33 + 1 = 34

Jamie and Michelle – 32 + 2 = 34

Pete and Jowita – 29 + 3 = 32
