Fatboy Slim announced as first headliner of Devon festival

Legendary DJ Fatboy Slim has been announced as the first headliner for next year's Electric Bay Festival in Torquay. The news won't come as a huge surprise for locals because billboards have recently appeared in the town saying, 'Fatboy Slim loves Torquay' with the date July 2025 on them.

Today, November 28, festival organisers English Riviera BID Company, in partnership with Louder Entertainment and Beatz n Bobz, have confirmed he will be banging out infectious tunes against the backdrop of Torre Abbey Meadows. The chart-topper, real name Norman Cook, will be performing on the Saturday night of the two-day festival taking place from July 12 to July 13, from noon until 10.30pm.

Fatboy Slim's timeless hits include Praise You, Right Here, Right Now, The Rockafeller Skank and Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat. He has dominated the global dance music scene for almost a decade and remains one of the world's most in-demand DJs.

He famously attracted over quarter of a million people to Brighton Beach in 2002 and since then has become a must-see performer at major festivals around the world. His live shows are renowned for their high energy, dynamic visuals, and impeccable curation.

Other acts who will be performing at Electric Bay Festival are yet to be announced.

Tickets for Fatboy Slim’s headline date will go on sale exclusively to pre-sale sign-ups at 10am on Tuesday, December 3, with general sale beginning on Wednesday, December 4. For more details, please click here.
