Strictly Come Dancing fans brand episode 'best ever' as legends steal the show

On Saturday night, BBC viewers returned to the glitz and glam of the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom, however, this week the programme took fans to the renowned Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

Last weekend, fans saw Wynne Evans and Shayne Ward in the dreaded dance-off, having to reperform to stay in the competition.

In the end, it was Shayne who was sent home after the final decision fell to head judge Shirley Ballas as the judges were left divided.

Although it was a turbulent weekend for some, Tasha Ghouri and JB Gill wowed the judges with their routines. Each of them earned near-perfect scores of 37, putting them firmly at joint first on the leaderboard.

However, as the remaining stars took to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom for a new week of routines, scores and leaderboard changes, it was the opening number that stole the show
