Eamonn Holmes 'plans to marry' new girlfriend
by Mary Stenson · BristolLiveEamonn Holmes is said to be considering remarrying after his separation from Ruth Langsford. The TV presenters parted ways earlier this year after being married for 14 years.
The pair had been together for more than 20 years but their relationship came to an abrupt end in May. But over the past few months Eamonn moved on with new girlfriend Katie Alexander and recently said that he wants to put his "tough year" behind him.
Eamonn and Katie have been spending a lot of time together, including heading off on a luxurious Mediterranean cruise in September and jetting off for a winter getaway in Paris. The couple were seen outside the Louvre last week. It's understood that they first connected on social media 12 years ago.

While holidaying in the French capital, a ring was spotted on Katie's engagement ring finger, sparking rumours they may be about to take things to the next stage. In photos obtained by The Sun, Eamonn was seen bundled up and using a mobility chair, while Katie sported a faux leather coat and a patterned silk scarf.
Just a week earlier, the couple attended a carol concert in west London and no ring could be seen on her finger, The Mirror reports.
A source told The Mirror: "Eamonn has been talking openly about his plans to marry Katie and has made it clear he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. They're already living together and he knows it feels right. They have a very strong connection and get on very well."
It's been reported by sources that Katie has given the GB News presenter a "real lust for life" and takes good care of him. He has been facing a number of health conditions and fears that he may never walk unaided again.
After decades of resisting a hip replacement, Eamonn underwent the procedure on both hips in 2016 to alleviate chronic pain, which had caused sleepless nights and made it difficult to drive.
