Although we're yet to see another stack of Dead Island 2 achievements for the PC version, Dead Island 2 joins PC Game Pass today for those of you looking to explore a zombie-infested LA while sitting at your desk. — that's another title to scratch off our list of upcoming Game Pass games.

Dead Island 2 joins the PC Game Pass library

After a painfully long wait, Dead Island 2 finally launched in 2023 in the hands of Dambuster Studios, and oh boy, was the wait worth it. Taking us to the sun-soaked streets of LA, Dead Island 2 sees you hacking your way through hordes of walking cadavers as you attempt to survive the end times. It's as gory as they come, thanks to Dambusters' FLESH Engine, and with the addition of Skill Cards, special abilities, and a colorful cast of characters, the journey through its main story is fantastic.

Since its launch, Dambuster has also dropped two premium expansions, Haus and Sola, featuring two wild stories based on techno-death cults and zombified festival goers. Earlier this month, a free update also added New Game+ with a couple of new Xbox achievements and a horde-style mode called Neighborhood Watch.

If you're looking for even more frightful experiences to dive into, take a look at our list of the best spooky Game Pass games.
