by Courtney Greenberg · National PostMore details are emerging about Luigi Mangione, the suspected gunman charged in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, who was fatally shot in New York City last week.
On Dec. 4, Thompson was on his way to a conference at a Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan when he was approached by a suspect early in the morning. Still images shared by the New York Police Department on X showed the moment the gunman pointed his weapon at Thompson and shot him in the street. Thompson was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
