Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby rushed to hospital after home invasion while she was pregnant

Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby has spoken out after a horrifying break-in at her home, revealing she is now in hospital. The reality TV star, who is eight months pregnant, was at home with her two year old daughter Alba when masked intruders invaded the property.

Her fiancé Jake Ankers tried to chase the four robbers, armed with a machete, but was unsuccessful. Now, 34 year old Charlotte has updated her followers on Instagram, saying her Black Friday plans have been "crippled" due to the incident, which she admits she is still struggling to process.

She reassured fans that her baby is fine, despite her current hospital stay. However, she expressed her frustration at experiencing "misfortune after misfortune" this month.

In her latest Instagram Stories update, Charlotte wrote: "[Two crying face emojis] Can't believe all my plans for our huge Black Friday activation have been crippled! As I'm typing this I'm laid in hospital.

"Baby is all fine thank you for all the messages! But I was meant to be at work today! Getting the message out to you all about our HUGE Black Friday celebration! And showing you all the amazing deals we have on! This month has had misfortune after misfortune. I want to thank you all for your kind messages about the break-in the other night. Still something I'm really struggling to come to terms with."

She then shared a link to her business's Instagram page, Pepper Girls Club, urging followers to check out its Black Friday sale with discounts of up to 85 per cent. On Thursday, Jake revealed the break-in on social media, stating: "I can't believe I'm saying this but some little c***s have tried to rob my house with my two year old and my partner who is nearly eight months pregnant, armed with a machete.", reports the Manchester Evening News.
