This Morning's Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond were met with mixed reactions from viewers as they danced to noughties hits during Friday's show (September 27). The pair, known for their lively presenting style, energetically danced to Beyonce's Crazy In Love and discussed their favourite tracks from two decades ago.

However, not all viewers were impressed, with some taking to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to voice their displeasure. One viewer pleaded: "Please stop! " while another questioned the need for the "Not sure why we have to have this annoying dancing every Fri."

Despite the criticism, some fans expressed their enjoyment of the duo's enthusiasm.

Regular hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard also faced backlash earlier in the week when they opened Wednesday's show (September 25) with a Christmas song, reminding viewers that there were only 91 days left until the festive season.

However, the early festive prompt sparked annoyance among some audience members, who expressed their exasperation at the premature Christmas chatter. Venturing to Twitter, one viewer lamented: "Why are they talking about Christmas? " Another shared their discontent bluntly, commenting: "Remind me in November please, I couldn't give a toss about Christmas now.", reports the Mirror.

In a similar vein, an additional tweet read: "Sydnie Christmas doing an item about Christmas. In September #ThisMorning."

Another social media user recommended delaying the Yuletide build-up, asserting: "#ThisMorning The Christmas buildup shouldn't start until 1st December."
