Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola has expressed his love for the show's former star and current Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse in a touching video shared on their Instagram stories after a catch-up. Oti, who has twice lifted the glitterball trophy on Strictly, switched her dancing shoes for the ice rink two years back as she left the BBC dance floor for ITV's Dancing On Ice, stepping into a judges' role in 2022 after taking over from John Barrowman.

Despite her transition, the South African dancer, 34, retains tight bonds with the Strictly family, including sister Motsi Mabuse, who is still judging on the show. Acknowledging her connection with friends, Oti captioned a social media post to her considerable following of over 700,000 fans with "Surround yourselves with friends that greet you like this", accompanied by a red heart emoji.

The clip captured Vito warmly embracing Oti and planting a kiss on her cheek. Vito Coppola, part of the Strictly professional roster since 2022 and last year's champion alongside Ellie Leach, is currently paired with actress Sarah Hadland. As they gear up for week eight of the competition, the duo hopes to secure their spot in Blackpool next weekend with an American Smooth set to Heather Small's 'Proud'.

Vito shared a heartwarming video of himself and Oti, expressing: "I cannot describe how much I love this amazing human.", reports the Liverpool Echo.

In recent weeks, Vito has received an outpouring of support from fans as he discussed the intensity of the past week. Prior to last Saturday's show on November 2, Vito took to social media to announce: "Ready for tomorrow, after another intense and very productive week. We are working hard and harder every single day..." He went on to say: "Thank you all beautiful people for just being always so supportive and nice and welcome to me. The UK became home to me, and this because of you and all the love that you send me."

Fans were quick to respond in the comments, with one stating: "Fans rushed to the comments with one saying: The UK is so lucky to have you here. You bring so much joy in all you do! " Another added: "Everyone loves you".
