GK Barry will form 'unlikely pairing' with one particular co-star on I'm A Celebrity

The countdown to this year's I'm A Celebrity is nearly over, with ten celebs prepping for their journey into the depths of the Australian jungle in the much-anticipated new series.

Among those taking on the challenge is Grace Eleanor Keeling, better known as GK Barry, the internet sensation turned Loose Women panellist and podcast host who's ready to swap social media for bushcraft.

Her mates reckon she'll strike an interesting friendship with one of the stars.

In the lead-up to Grace's jungle stint, her close pal and social media companion Joe Baggs spilled the beans on the camaraderie he anticipates.

Joe said: "I think she'll get along well with Tulisa, they have very similar personalities and knowing both of them, they've obviously met before and got along, but this will bring them closer", reports OK!.

Grace's love life isn't out of the limelight either, as she's dating England footballer Ella Rutherford, and Joe reckons that her newfound WAG status could be a catalyst for bonding with original WAG Coleen Rooney.

He remarked: "Given her new WAG vibe, I think she'll gravitate to Coleen Rooney. I was thinking they might clash because she's a bit older, but I think she'll really warm to her."

Joe added convincingly: "They'll come out as the unlikely pairing, Grace is gonna love to find out about the WAG life."

Notably, Grace shot to TikTok fame during lockdown in 2020, racking up over a million followers within just a year of starting her account.

Embracing her voice further, she launched the podcast Saving Grace in 2022 and has been taking it on tour across the UK.

Joining her in the jungle will be a host of well-known faces, including McFly's Danny Jones, Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse and radio presenter Melvin Odoom.

Coronation Street's Alan Halsall, Loose Women's Jane Moore, Radio 1 star Dean McCullough and boxing promoter Barry McGuigan are also set to head down under.

Love Island's Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Coles are expected to join the camp later, bringing the total number of campmates to 12.

I'm A Celebrity: Unpacked will feature hosts Joel Dommett, Sam Thompson and DJ Kemi Rodgers discussing all the latest happenings from the main show.

I'm A Celebrity airs tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
