BBC Strictly Come Dancing Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell fans all say same thing about winners

Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell have emerged as the champions of Strictly Come Dancing 2024, sending fans into a frenzy as the results were announced by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman on Saturday night (December 14). The pair triumphed over strong competition in the dazzling grand final, outshining Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec, JB Gill and Lauren Oakley, and Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola to claim the title for the 22nd series and lift the prestigious Glitterball trophy.

Following three performances each, Chris and Dianne accumulated a total score of 116 points out of a possible 120, while JB and Lauren, and Tasha and Aljaz, achieved near-perfect scores of 119 points, and Sarah and Vito earned 118 points. Upon being declared the winner, Chris appeared visibly stunned, covering his mouth with his hand, as Dianne let out a squeal before they both burst into tears, realising they had made history with Chris becoming the first-ever blind contestant to win.
