Strictly Come Dancing fans are calling for a shake-up in the show's hosting team, suggesting that Fleur East should become a permanent fixture. The heartfelt moment occurred as Fleur was interviewing recently ousted contestant Jamie Borthwick and his professional dance partner Michelle Tsiakkis about their exit from the competition.

The duo found themselves in the bottom two during Sunday night's dance-off, pitted against Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe. Regrettably, the judges chose to save Montell and Johannes, concluding Jamie's Strictly journey just shy of the quarter-finals.

During their stint on Strictly It Takes Two with host Fleur East, the pair discussed their departure, leading to a poignant moment. As they viewed a recap of their Strictly journey, Michelle was seen shedding tears on Jamie's shoulder.

An emotional Fleur East remarked: "As an actor, you really know how to put on a show." Jamie, also teary-eyed, interrupted Fleur to ask "are you crying as well?", reports the Mirror.

As per the Express, Fleur confessed: "Yeah because you got me emotional! It really did!" Reflecting on their time on the show, the pair singled out their Paso Doble performance, with Jamie stating: "As much as I love the rhumba, I have to say that paso, that was good. I loved that."

"I've got a great friend in this one, but everyone who works on the show, and all the people don't see behind the stage. They're all absolutely brilliant and I've made some really good ones and I'm really pleased about that."

The news of Jamie's departure left fans heartbroken, with many taking to social media to express their sadness.
