TV and radio personality Mark Wright has given fans a glimpse of the aftermath following a rush to hospital in America after he sustained a nasty head wound while in Las Vegas. The 37 year old TOWIE star insisted he "wasn't drunk" and assured everyone he's "absolutely fine".

He shared details of the frightful incident with his followers on Instagram, from the comfort of his first-class seat en route back to London. In a Story, he explained: "Another year done. F1 in Vegas. What an experience. I'm coming home with a little scar. For those that are asking on my Instagram, I fell in the bathroom. I wasn't drunk. It was in the middle of the night, half asleep. Needed a few stitches but I'm all good, absolutely fine."

Sporting a visible scar across his forehead, Mark had been in the States enjoying Formula One racing. He also expressed his eagerness to reunite with his wife, actress Michelle Keegan, also 37, and extended gratitude towards his friends for their hospitality in Vegas.

"What a guy - setting it all up and giving us an unforgettable week. But now it's home time for Christmas. Can't wait to see my loved ones. Until next time, Vegas. Peace out.", reports the Mirror.

During his flight, Mark found amusement in watching Home Alone and now faces a busy period addressing the complaints about the elaborate Christmas decorations at their £3.5 million mansion. Michelle, famed for her roles in Coronation Street as Tina McIntyre and as Georgie Lane in Our Girl, joined forces with her husband to share a festive video on their "wrightyhome" Instagram profile.

The footage displays the exterior of their residence twinkling with fairy lights, Georgian-style windows adorned, door surrounded by leaves, alongside reindeers and Christmas trees. Stepping inside, viewers are treated to a glimpse of a magnificent Christmas tree draped in red and gold baubles, with more baubles glistening up their grand staircase.

The caption they posted reads: "It's that time of year again! ! The best time of the year! ! Just when you think @4.seasonevents can't do any better.... Killed it."
