by George Allen, Jessica Sansome · NottinghamshireLiveGK Barry has humorously reflected on her I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here experience as she rejoined the Loose Women panel, sporting a glamorous new hairstyle. The 25 year old TikTok sensation, who also serves as a panellist on Loose Women, endured 21 days in the jungle, facing numerous challenging Bushtucker Trials to secure meals for herself and her fellow campmates on the ITV reality show.
On Tuesday (December 17), GK, whose real name is Grace Keeling, advised any celebrities contemplating participation in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
' next year to refrain from seeking her advice, quipping: "If you're going on next year, don't call me."
Despite feeling "grateful" for the viewer support during the show, Barry has been candid about the ordeal, describing it as the "hardest thing I've ever done in my entire life" and warning the next group of contestants not to reach out to her for guidance. When questioned by head panellist Charlene White, who appeared on the programme in 2022, about the most difficult aspect of her time on the show, GK immediately cited "boredom and hunger" as her greatest challenges.
She elaborated: "The boredom and the hunger. You'd sleep and you'd wake up and still not knowing what time it is. It's like, 'Have I even slept an hour? '", reports the Manchester Evening News.
Sharing the jungle experience with the internet personality was fellow 'Loose Women' panellist and journalist Jane Moore, whose support in camp GK deeply appreciated. She revealed: "Thank god Jane was there. She really helped me. When I was getting a bit down in there, she clocked straight away, come and lie with me. I called her my jungle mum. She was lovely."
GK was joined by an array of famous faces, including Coleen Rooney, wife of Wayne Rooney, Reverend Richard Coles of the Communards, 'Dancing on Ice' judge Oti Mabuse, and 'Love Island' contestant Maura Higgins.
When asked if she was familiar with her fellow campmates before meeting them, GK admitted: "I'm not going to lie, I read the leaked line-up when I was on the plane. So, I was doing the Googling on the plane on the Wi-Fi, so I sort of knew about most people but everyone was so much more interesting."
