Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking release date, cast and all you need to know as film stars reunite

Prime Video is set to enthral Harry Potter fans with the upcoming Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking. Described as "blending legendary storytelling and fantastical edible creations in a never-before-seen competition that will have audiences at the edge of their seats", it's sure to be a sumptuous feast for the eyes.

Hosting duties fall on James and Oliver Phelps, famed for portraying Fred and George Weasley, adding an authentic dash of charm to proceedings. Judges Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef will be putting the creations to the test, while special guests such as Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) join in to evaluate the magical culinary masterpieces and share anecdotes from their time filming the beloved series.

The nostalgia doesn't stop there; the production makes use of original sets from the films, immersing contestants and viewers alike in the world where Harry Potter's adventures sprang to cinematic life.

As for when you can indulge in Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking, the spellbinding competition launches on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland on December 17, with all six episodes available immediately.

The season culminates on December 24 with its finale, but not before a spectacular first episode which sees nine teams of skilled pastry chefs and cake artists conjure up edible wonders inspired by the iconic Harry Potter series.

Each episode, the culinary artists will design showstopping creations that not only taste good, but also offer surprising and enchanting, visual elements, reports the Express.

The series was produced at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, amidst the backdrop of the Warner Bros.Studio Tour London.

Contenders will have the chance to present their creations in iconic locations such as Platform 934, The Great Hall, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, Diagon Alley, the Forbidden Forest and more.

The trailer begins with the contestants looking starstruck as they enter Hogwarts, but they are soon pulled out of their reverie as the hectic baking begins.

Viewers will have to wait and see who is crowned champion as the hopefuls produce some out-of-this-world creations.
