Gogglebox's Ellie Warner hits back at cruel troll who mum-shamed her over son's hair

Gogglebox favourite Ellie Warner hit back at a troll who cruelly mocked her son's hairstyle. The popular TV personality, who is a doting mum to son Ezra with boyfriend Nat Eddleston, is well-known for her appearances on the Channel 4 show alongside her sister Izzi.

They've been part of the Gogglebox family since 2015, and Ellie, aged 34, introduced her son to viewers last year. She announced his arrival during an episode and later shared a sweet photo on social media, revealing his name for the first time.

Ellie has been keeping her followers updated on her life as a mother and has been documenting Ezra's early years. In a recent post, she uploaded a picture of Ezra at home sporting an ACDC outfit and his blonde curls tied up in a ponytail.

Despite the adorable image, one commenter wrote: "I love you on TV but please think about your sons future. Get his hair cut and stop breastfeeding him, he has to grow up with all this not you, give him a chance at a normal life at least."

Ellie responded by sharing the comment with her followers, expressing her dismay with the words: "This is what we're up against," reports the Irish Mirror.

The mum-of-one then posted another snapshot of her son sporting his hair up and dancing with sunglasses on, captioned: "Ezra blocking out the haters! Thanks for all the kind messages, I wasn't actually upset reading the message but I chose to share because this is the BS that women have to put up with and I'm trying to raise a little dude who respects women and is against toxic masculinity!"

Ellie revealed her disbelief in adding: "And guess what... that message was from another woman? !" Earlier in May, Ellie enjoyed her first getaway with her son and boyfriend Nat, sharing glimpses of the trip which marked not only Ezra's inaugural holiday but also his debut at a wedding.

As someone open about body confidence, Ellie took her followers down memory lane with throwback pictures from her own baby shower, expressing: "Can't believe it's been 1 whole year since my baby shower! I didn't feel confident sharing pictures at the time," along with "Safe to say I don't ever get the chance to look this good now."

Life took an unexpected turn for Ellie and her partner Nat when, just preceding their welcoming of Ezra, Nat suffered a severe accident.

In March 2022, on a walk home in Leeds, he was hit by a car, causing catastrophic injuries including a broken neck, back, and two punctured lungs. The dire situation urgently sent him to hospital and led to Ellie and her sister Izzi stepping back from filming Channel 4's Gogglebox.
