ITV I'm A Celebrity's Dean McCullough quits trial after just one minute

I'm A Celebrity witnessed one of its stars pushed to their limits in the latest trial. The ITV programme was back on our screens on Thursday (November 21) with Ant and Dec overseeing the new group of celebrities in the Australian jungle.

In the most recent episode, BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough faced the Bushtucker Trial named Lethal Lab. Upon arrival at the makeshift scientific research facility, Ant and Dec explained the task ahead.

Dean had to begin in the experimentation zone, where he had two minutes to complete a task worth two stars, involving mixing a green liquid with a clear one to cause a reaction. Equipped with goggles and gloves filled with green ants, he remarked: "This is not looking good boys."

Dean successfully secured two stars before proceeding to seven different containment areas, each offering additional stars, with the final area containing two.

"I like to overpromise and underdeliver," Dean quipped, setting his sights low at just one star. Despite the company of cockroaches, crickets, mealworms, giant lizards, snakes, and spiders, he managed to earn two more stars, reports the Express.

However, by containment area five, Dean admitted he'd rather not know what creatures would be joining him next.

And as fish guts were poured into the compartment, Dean found it overwhelming and quickly exclaimed: "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! " Once freed, Dean was content with having secured 4 stars for camp and returned to his fellow celebrities to share the update.
