Scots strongman Luke Stoltman has reportedly split from his wife after being accused of playing away from home while their baby was unwell in hospital.

His heartbroken wife Kushi, 31, also claimed Europe’s Strongest Man, 39, refused to visit their sick child and had the affair while Koa, just nine months old, was being treated by doctors. The couple have parted following Kushi’s claim that he had a secret relationship with a woman powerlifter while their son was unwell.

In a heartfelt post on social media, Kushi also made further claims of adultery and said she was “heartbroken and devastated”.

The couple had finally welcomed their first child in February, after years of fertility treatment.

Taking to Instagram, Kushi said: “I thought my world was complete, going through so much heartache to get my beautiful baby boy and finally get pregnant and getting that happily ever after I’ve always wanted with my husband after trying for so many years.

“Our son is 9 months old now and this weekend after our son has been in hospital so sick and Luke refusing to come and see him in hospital because he was with another woman behind my back. I am absolutely heartbroken and devastated that someone could be so cruel and nasty.

“He is not the man he portrays himself to be. Thank you very much Luke Stoltman... for torturing me. I have no idea how people in this world can be so cruel.”

Kushi later confirmed her heartbreak online after she was asked if she had been hacked.

“This is all true I’m afraid,” she said. “I am absolutely heartbroken and what I have been put through is unforgivable. People can portray themselves a certain way publicly but their true colours always show in the end.

“No I have not been hacked and I am so devastated how a man can put his family through this.”

In the wake of her post on Wednesday night, Kushi received support on social media from wives of other strongman competitors.

Stoltman, 39, from Invergordon, Ross-shire, is currently Europe’s Strongest Man and has won the national title five times.

Nicknamed the Highland Oak, he is the older brother of current World’s Strongest Man, 30.

Tom’s wife Sinead was among those who sent support to her sister-in-law, as was famous lifter Eddie Hall’s partner Alexandra.

Luke Stoltman has been a long-standing campaigner for mental health awareness and has regularly shown support for brother Tom and his struggles with autism. Their success on the global strongman stage has helped them create the Stoltman clothing brand which has its own store in Invergordon.

The siblings document their fitness competition journeys on social media and YouTube, including videos of their heavy duty training regimes and gut-busting diets. The pair run the Stoltman Academy which is a platform offering “online coaching by the world’s strongest brothers”. It offers one-to-one coaching, training and meal plans as well as an opportunity to be part of “an amazing community that will support you every step of the way” in achieving fitness goals.
