More than 120 children took part in this year’s Hallowe’en pumpkin trail in Twynholm.

It was organised by Elaine Manson with help from her daughter Jessica Craig, with local businesses and people sponsoring the many prizes and treats on offer.

Huge numbers of households in the village joined in by decorating their houses and gardens and providing sweet treats for the children as they hunted for pumpkins to solve the puzzle phrase and also hunt for the lucky Hallowe’en rubber ducks.

There was even a mysterious figure in a real horse on the trail, much to everyone’s surprise. A fabulous night was had by all.
