An influencer sparked controversy among her fellow mums for arriving at the school gates in an outfit considered "too sexy".

Debora Peixoto has been on the receiving end of criticism within a parent WhatsApp group after she wore a blue fitness top and shorts ensemble that showed her midriff when she dropped off her child at 6am.

Accusations from the group disparaged her as "clueless" and "ridiculous" due to her clothing choice, leading Debora, who boasts 684,000 followers on Instagram, to defend her position against those expecting a weary mother to be "fully dressed up" so early in the day.

As tensions mounted in the group chat, she advised the disgruntled mums to "get some help" and focus on their own lives, before exiting the message skirmish. "I work from home and set my own schedule," she explained.

She continued to NeedToKnow: "This is the first time I’ve faced this type of situation at my son’s school. Some of my followers also said it was inappropriate [clothing] for a school setting but others defended me and my right to dress as I wish."

Not new to stirring up opinion, Debora has previously made waves discussing her polyamorous life with husband Anderson Peixoto, aged 61, and partner Luiza Marcato, 28. She previously spoke candidly about the "instantaneous" connection she felt with Luiza, which led her to consider an open marriage. "The chemistry between me and Luiza was instantaneous," Debora shared to Daily Star.

"When I met her [Luiza], I felt an immediate connection. I couldn't ignore what was happening. We've created our own rules and it works for us. The marriage is not just about us as individuals but about the bond we've built together as a trio."

The Brazilian throuple are now looking forward to their honeymoon. Debora further commented: "We decided that it [the wedding ceremony] was the right way to express our love, even though we know we may face criticism and challenges. The event, which included only close family and friends, symbolised the new chapter in our lives that we have decided to embark on together."
