He wrote: “Y’all just judge me off this one thing y’all know bout me but y’all don’t even know the truth behind all this, I’m not this evil person that everybody think I am and nobody even known me as a person y’all believe in everything u see on social media, I’m not sorry for nothing I did. #itsstillfreeme.”

Check out a recap of the post below.

This isn’t the first time Boatwright has gotten into hot water for social media controversy.

Back in April, he was condemned for appearing to mock the late rapper’s five-year-old son on social media.

Boatwright, who was one of three people convicted of murdering the “Look At Me!” rapper, shared a post of X’s son Gekyume on Instagram Stories where the child walked around his house showing pictures of his late father.

Boatwright — or whoever manages his Instagram page, as he is in prison — added crying laughing emojis over the post.

He also shared a separate IG Story that showed Gekyume’s mother Jenesis Sanchez had viewed the post.

Boatwright captioned the second post: “She watchin,” and added more laughing emojis.

He also revealed that he wanted to speak with Sanchez, writing: “Somebody tell her to text me I want to talk to her.”

Boatwright was widely condemned on social media for his actions and lack of remorse.

One user wrote: “XXXTENTACION killer Michael Boatwright is one evil soul, here you have him laughing at X son pointing at a picture of his dad, mocking Jenesis (X’s baby mother) & he actually had the nerve to add the video of him counting the cash he stole from X as a highlight on his Instagram.”

Another said: “Michael boatwright deserves to rot In jail.”

Last year, 29-year-old Boatwright and his co-defendants Dedrick Williams and Trayvone Newsome were sentenced to life in prison for the 2018 murder of XXXTENTACION outside of a Florida motorbike shop.

Boatwright infamously blew a kiss and smiled at the camera when his guilty verdict was read aloud in court.

A fourth person involved in the murder, Robert Allen, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges in August 2022. He took to the stand to testify against his co-defendants during the trial in hopes of reducing his sentence.
