Big prize racing weekend

High-speed action is coming to the Penticton Speedway this weekend with the Harvest 200 Championship.

On Saturday Sept. 8, the races will run from the late afternoon into the evening, featuring fan favourites like hit-to-pass, hornets, street stocks, late models, and more.

The highlight will be the late model series race, which is a 200-lap challenge that will see the winner taking home $2,500 for first prize.

In addition to the racing action, there will be food trucks, cold drinks and music.
