Marvel Studios Reportedly Looking To Cast Lady Gaga as Dazzler

While Joker: Folie à Deux completely bombed with audiences at the box office, Lady Gagadid receive some praise for her performance as Harley "Lee" Quinn.

Now, it looks like there’s a chance that Lady Gaga might make the jump from DC to Marvel. According to Inside Scooper MTTSH, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige is interested in bringing Gaga into the MCU fold as Dazzler.

What’s being reported here is just a rumor, but this source has been right with a lot of things, so we’ll just have to wait and see. Regardless, it’s not hard to imagine Gaga in the role of Dazzler. I assume the character will be introduced as part of the first team of X-Men.

Feige recently talked about bringing the X-Men into the MCU, saying: "I think you will see that continues in our next few movies with some X-Men players that you might recognize.”

He then revealed; “Right after that, the whole story of Secret Warsreally leads us into a new age of mutants and of the X-Men. Again, [it’s] one of those dreams come true. We finally have the X-Men back."

Dazzler, also known as Alison Blaire, was first introduced in Uncanny X-Men #130 in 1980, and she was created as a multimedia character during a collaboration between Marvel and Casablanca Records.

Her mutant power allows her to convert sound into light, which she uses for dazzling displays, blinding bursts, and focused laser beams. Originally pursuing a career as a disco singer, Alison's adventures often intertwine her music career as a pop star with her superhero life.
