Trailer For The Wild 1993 Family-Friendly Comedy REMOTE
by Joey Paur · GeekTyrantThis week’s retro trailer is for the 1993 family-friendly comedy Remote, which centers on 13-year-old Randy Mason, a tech-savvy boy with a passion for remote-controlled gadgets.
When he's caught using his gadgets to disrupt class, he's grounded by his mother and banned from his toys. To escape punishment, Randy sneaks off to a model home that he’s set up as a hideout, filled with his remote-controlled inventions.
But his day turns into chaos when three bumbling criminals break into the house, using it as a hideout themselves after a botched robbery.
With the criminals unaware of his presence, Randy uses his remote-controlled helicopters, cars, and other gadgets to play tricks on the intruders and thwart their plans, ultimately becoming a pint-sized hero.
Remote plays on the classic theme of a clever kid outsmarting criminals, reminiscent of Home Alone. It delivers a mix of slapstick humor as Randy's resourcefulness and love for gadgets turn the tables on his unwelcome guests.
The movie was directed by Ted Nicolaou, and you can enjoy the trailer below!
