Zack Snyder Developing an LAPD Action Thriller for Netflix

Zack Snyderis developing a new project with Netflix, and this one is set within the Los Angeles Police Department.

The film is described as being set in “a high-stakes world of life and death, watching as an elite LAPD unit is relentlessly confronted with the unforgiving collision of law and morality.”

This seems like a different kind of project for Snyder as it’s not really a sci-fi or horror genre film. He’s co-writing the script with Kurt Johnstad, who previously worked with Snyder on 300 and Rebel Moon.

Snyder will produce alongside wife and creative partner Deborah Snyder, as well as his partner Wesley Coller for Stone Quary.

There aren’t any other details to reveal for the project, but Snyder also recently confirmed that he’s started work on his new 300 spinoff series. So he’s keeping himself busy.
