ITV Coronation Street Kit's next sick plan 'revealed' - and Billy needs to watch out

Coronation Street's Kit Green has been causing chaos on the cobbles ever since he arrived in Weatherfield earlier this year - and now fans are convinced they have 'rumbled' his next move

Coronation Street seems to have revealed Kit Green's disturbing next move, and it doesn't bode well for Billy Mayhew.

The corrupt police officer, portrayed by Jacob Roberts, made his debut on the cobbles this year as Bernie's (Jane Hazlegrove) long-lost child. Soap favourite Bernie relinquished Christopher 'Kit' Green for adoption nearly three decades ago. A few months back, she finally located him.

Meanwhile, Bernie's twins Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Paul (Peter Ash) were shocked to discover they had another sibling. Moreover, Kit played a role in getting Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper), a vile character, imprisoned for the murder of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton). Kit planted Lauren's DNA in paedophile Nathan's van, setting him up.

Since then, Kit has become a regular face on the cobbles, causing plenty of upheaval. In addition to forcing soap icon Beth Tinker (Lisa George) to leave the street, Kit has also contributed to the split between Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) and Daisy (Charlotte Jordan), reports the Liverpool Echo.

However, viewers have now 'figured out' Kit's next scheme on the street. This week on the soap, his brother Paul's funeral took place after his fight with MND. Before going there, Kit was met by his colleague DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers).

She informed him that his fellow officers at the station had collected some money for Kit to donate to an MND charity. Kit was delighted to see the envelope of cash before tucking it into his jacket.

Suspicious fans noticed that the envelope of cash disappeared in the episode, sparking speculation about foul play. Putting their thoughts together on social media, one viewer stated on a Coronation Street fan page: "Kit never passed the money."

Another added in response: "I thought this and it's still going round my head!" A third fan declared: "He is a con man." Another agreed saying: "He was never going to. He's a bent cop." A fifth person concluded with: "Don't trust him there's something dodgy about him."

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX
