ITV Coronation Street's Bethany to exit cobbles as fans predict she'll make huge decision

Coronation Street fans are worried that Bethany Platt, played by Lucy Fallon, may leave Weatherfield after discovering that Daniel Osbourne has been unfaithful with Daisy Midgeley. ITV viewers are also foreseeing a shocking storyline where Daisy becomes expectant with Daniel's child, much to Bethany's dismay.

In last Wednesday's (December 11) visit to the cobbles, audiences saw Bethany call time on her romance with Daniel, expressing her unhappiness. She appeared resolute as she commenced packing away her items from Daniel's apartment.

Daniel (Rob Mallard) sought solace at The Rovers, quickly sharing his woes with Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) about Bethany's decision to end things. Seizing the moment, Daisy reignited old flames and steered Daniel into a kiss that escalated.

After their intimate encounter on the settee, an elated Daisy persuaded Daniel to break the news to Bethany. However, her happiness was short-lived when she grasped that Daniel instantly regretted succumbing to his desires.

Daniel acknowledged his mistake, lamenting: "It shouldn't have happened just now I shouldn't have let it happen. It's all my fault, I am so sorry". He continued with self-reproach: "I'm weak and I'm selfish and I'm somebody that you are better off without - Bethany too," reports Lancs Live.

On returning home, Daniel found Bethany still there, having reconsidered her choice to part ways. They made amends, and Daniel deemed it best not to divulge his latest indiscretion with Daisy.

Coronation Street fans are speculating that a baby storyline could lead to Bethany's departure from Weatherfield, nearly a quarter of a century since the character first appeared.

One avid Corrie viewer suggested on social media: "So daisy gets pregnant and Bethany leaves for abit #corrie."

Another fan expressed frustration with one of the characters, commenting: "How many times is Daniel gonna say sorry. What a prat. And knowing the crazy scriptwriters, she will probably be pregnant. #Corrie."

A third chimed in with their prediction: "Daisy will find out she's pregnant by Daniel in a few weeks! ! #Corrie", while yet another agreed, stating: "Daisy is going to be pregnant. #Corrie."
