EastEnders confirms Walford 'exit' in thrilling Halloween twist for The Six
by Angie Quinn · PlymouthLiveEastEnders delivered a shocking twist for The Six on Halloween, as Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) seemed to shoulder the blame for the demise of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) on Christmas Day.
In the eerie episode aired on Thursday (October 31), which fans could stream in advance on iPlayer, Nish was seen getting comfortable at the Panesar/Gulati residence following Suki Panesar's (Balvinder Sopal) decision to give her abusive former spouse another chance.
This unexpected turn of events occurred after Nish found out that Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) had killed Keanu when he attempted to throttle Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
Suki consented to pretend their family life was harmonious in return for Nish keeping quiet about the murder. However, the charade became unbearable for her when Nish prepared a romantic dinner, prompting her to escape to The Minute Mart.
There, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) encountered a distraught Suki and cautioned her against returning to the man who had tormented her for years. Despite this, Suki declared she could manage the situation and went back home, reports the Daily Star.
Upon her return, Nish's aggression resurfaced, and he aimed to assault Suki sexually. Fortunately, Stacey burst in just in time to intervene, followed by Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) and Avani (Aaliyah James).
As Nish and Suki's grandchildren stood by, petrified, he tried to downplay the incident as "just an argument". However, Avani courageously faced Nish and made it clear that Suki's love for him had faded.
Tears streamed down Nish's face as he exited the house, demanding that The Six, including Suki, Stacey, Sharon, Linda, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), convene with him at The Queen Vic.
Nish queried the group of women about the specifics of Keanu's stabbing and the position in which they buried him in the café. The sound of police sirens echoed in the background, and shortly after, Nish admitted to being responsible for Keanu's demise.
In a conversation with DCI Arthurs (Ian Burfield), Nish confessed that his associates were the ones who fatally stabbed the mechanic with a meat thermometer. He also claimed to have planted the murder weapon at Dean Wicks' (Matt Di Angelo) flat and coerced Linda into confessing by threatening her family.
With Suki as a witness, Nish asserted that, as a man on his deathbed, he wanted to do the right thing leading to Suki texting The Six that their ordeal had ended.
As he was escorted away by the police, Nish implored Suki not to marry her fiancée Eve Unwin (Heather Peace). As the women stood outside The Queen Vic, Nish was permitted to watch the fireworks alongside Suki, with the sparkling display reflecting the signature colours of each member of The Six.
Suki, Stacey, Kathy, Sharon, Linda, and Denise watched as Nish was taken away by the police. But is this the end of Keanu's murder saga? Or will the dying Nish have another trick up his sleeve?
