ITV I'm A Celeb's Coleen Rooney reveals very bad habit that could cause tension among campmates
by Shannon Brown, Ayeesha Walsh · PlymouthLiveI'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! participant Coleen Rooney has confessed to a bad habit that might annoy her fellow campmates. The footballer's wife revealed that her husband, Wayne Rooney, warned her about her snoring habit.
Speaking before her arrival in Australia for the show's launch this evening, Coleen admitted she was surprised to learn about her occasional snoring. She said: "I didn't think I snored, but Wayne says I snore. Not continuously though – just every now and again.
"I have been in the public eye for over 20 years now and people take what they want from it. I do think people will get a better idea of what kind of person I am."
Wayne, the former England player, also reminded his wife that living in the I'm A Celeb camp means being filmed constantly. Speaking to The Sun, she added: "Wayne is supportive. He did say, 'You know you are going to be on camera 24/7? ' but I said, 'Yeah that's the show!'"
Coleen also shared that Wayne would "have a go" at the jungle himself if he could find the time in his busy schedule as manager for Plymouth Argyle, reports the Mirror. She further admitted that Wayne is no braver than her; he is simply too occupied to consider any reality TV appearances at this stage in his career.
Coleen shared: "No. If he had time, he'd have a go. I am not saying he would go in, but he wouldn't be completely put off."
She is now set for a three-week separation from her husband Wayne, their children, and the luxury of their £20 million Cheshire home. Coleen, spotted at the airport en route to her flight, was seen donning a gold necklace with her children's names and a pair of pricey designer pyjamas, ensuring her comfort for the long journey ahead.
It has been disclosed that ITV executives have forked out more than the record £1.5 million they paid to secure MP Nigel Farage for the jungle to persuade Coleen to join the adventure. Coleen has also confessed that Kai, her and Wayne's 15 year old son, was keen on her taking up the challenge, stating: "I haven't spoken about it with my younger two boys as not many know. But my eldest son told me: 'Yeah go for it'."
"My second one was a bit more emotional. He thought about me being away for a long length of time, but hopefully that will pass. My parents are happy too that I'm doing something for me."
Coleen and Wayne, childhood sweethearts, became household names when he made his debut with Everton's first team at just 16.
I'm A Celebrity begins this Sunday, November 17, on ITV at 9pm.
