I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! is set to hit our screens in just a few days and an ex-contestant has issued advice to Coleen Rooney amidst quitting rumours. Model and Television Host Amy Willerton exclusively spoke to Platinum Spas about the ITV show ahead of its return this Sunday (November 17).

Coleen, the wife of Plymouth Argyle manager Wayne Rooney, left fans stunned when it was revealed she'd be trading her Cheshire mansion for the Australian jungle. After being invited to participate in the ITV challenge show for "years", 38-year-old Coleen now feels it's the perfect time to step back into the limelight.

Rumours have been circulating that her reactive arthritis might exclude her from some Bushtucker Trials on medical grounds; Coleen recently assured fans this wouldn't be the case, and she's all set to tackle whatever comes her way. However, some speculate that as the "most famous" name in the camp, she might end up biting off more than she can chew.

Bookies are now predicting that this could prompt the 38-year-old to rethink her choices and swap the camp for a plush five-star hotel before the show wraps up. Although Coleen was initially the jungle favourite, her odds have been cut to 9/1, reported the Mirror.

However, Amy Willerton, who had a famous showmance with Joey Essex during her stint in the jungle, offered advice to Coleen and said: "I would just really use the opportunity to connect with yourself and disconnect from everything else. We don’t get a lot of time to unplug.

"I would fully embrace it and that was one of the things I said to myself when I went in there, I would do every challenge, I would try my best no matter how scary it was and that was what my intention was. I wanted to fully enjoy it and commit myself to it and because I made that mental promise to myself, that really pushed me to not chicken out of everything."

She added: "Even though there were challenges where you had to dunk yourself in a bowl full of fish guts, get buried with a snake, or eat this, I knew in myself that I had already made the mental decision that I was doing anything I was asked to do. You get to decide how you will approach the opportunity so I would just say, ‘are you going to ever put yourself in the jungle in this situation again’?"

Coleen is set to join the I'm A Celebrity lineup on Sunday when the show returns at 9 pm on ITV1 and ITVX. Other contestants include Tulisa Contostavlos, Oti Mabuse, and Barry McGuigan.

Before heading to Australia, in a video posted on social media to confirm she was heading Down Under, Coleen addressed speculation she may not do all the trials. She said: "I'm looking forward to doing the trials. There's been a lot of news saying that I can't do trials because of certain illnesses and that, but I can confirm I can do every trial. So I am not excluded from any that was just a load of rubbish, and I am, yeah, I'm looking forward to it."
