Electronica: Video Interview – SIGLENT unveils SDS7604A, High-Performance 12-Bit Scope with 4 Channels up to 6GHz
by EW Staff · Electronics Weekly.comAt Electronica 2024 we caught up with Chris Armstrong, Marketing Director at SIGLENT, and Gnanachaitra Ravali Namini, Application Manager at SIGLENT, as part of our promotional coverage for the event.
In this interview, they discusses the SIGLENT SDS7604A. The latest version of this scope introduces several key enhancements compared to its predecessors, they tell us, particularly in terms of frequency analysis capabilities.
Notably, it now includes Eye/Jitter Analysis for automatic extraction of embedded reference clocks, making it highly suitable for automotive applications, high-speed communications, and semiconductor testing with a focus on power integrity. Additionally, the scope features a Real-Time Spectrum Analysis (RTSA) mode, enabling seamless analysis in both the time and frequency domains.
Moreover, the 12-bit resolution provides the ability to distinguish 4,096 levels (2^12), offering significantly more detailed signal resolution. This is especially beneficial for applications where precise detection of small signal variations is crucial.
Thank you to Chris and Gnanachaitra for their time.
