Book release at MAHE today

A book on Jnanpith awardee U. R. Ananthamurthy published by Kendra Sahitya Akademi will be released at Sarvodaya Hall, Gandhian Centre, MAHE, Manipal at 10 a.m. on Monday.

The book is authored by award-winning critic N. Manu Chakravarthy.

The book release function will be presided over by critic and writer Muralidhar Upadhya Hiriadka. Phaniraj, a professor, will release the book and Varadesh Hiregange, Head, Gandhian Centre for Philosophical Arts and Sciences, MAHE, will speak on the book.

There will be a book exhibition by Kendra Sahitya Akademi at the venue on the occasion, a release said.
