Three concerts featuring vocal, violin, percussions in the city on December 15

The Bangalore Gayana Samaja is organising a musical concert here in the city on Sunday, December 15. Ms. Anjali Sharma will present a vocal recital, with Vishwajith V. Mathur on violin, Sunil Subramanya on mridangam, and Karthik Mani on ghatam.

The concert will be held at Gayana Samaja, Krishna Rajendra (K.R.) Road, from 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Another musical concert will be presented by Sapthak Bangalore at the Indian Institute of World Culture (IIWC), Sri B.P. Wadia Road in Basavanagudi at 5.30 p.m. Dhruv Hangal from Bengaluru will be on the flute, accompanied by Kiran Yavagal from Hubli on tabla. After the flute recital, Vinayak Hegde will present a vocal concert, accompanied by Santhosh Hegde on tabla and Ajay Hegde on harmonium.

The third concert will be presented by the Nadasurabhi Cultural Association. Sunil R. Gargyan will present the vocal concert, with B.K. Raghu on violin, H.S. Sudhindra on mridangam, and S.N. Narayanamurthy on ghatam. The concert will be held at Lecture Theatre 1, Golden Jubilee Block, St. John’s Medical College campus, Koramangala, from 4.15 p.m.
