Pedestrian dies in accident near Alur in Hassan

A pedestrian died after he was hit by a KSRTC bus on NH-75 at Singapura near Palya in Alur taluk of Hassan district on Wednesday.

Devaraje Gowda, an elderly person, died on the spot as the bus heading towards Hassan from Sakaleshpur ran over him. He was carrying milk to the dairy when he met with the accident. The negligence of the bus driver is said to be the cause of the accident.

Devaraje Gowda’s son S.D. Raghu filed a complaint with Alur police.
